VeChain's Hayabusa mainnet is now live, introducing the StarGate 2.0 staking system and a redesigned tokenomics model. This major upgrade, part of the VeChain Renaissance roadmap, strongly emphasizes decentralization and real-world blockchain adoption. Starting December 9th, users must delegate StarGate NFTs to Validators to earn rewards, marking a strategic shift from passive VTHO generation to active, incentive-aligned participation.

A transition phase will run until December 2025, allowing Validators sufficient time to onboard and initiate reward cycles. StarGate 2.0's delegation mechanism is designed to strengthen network security while perfectly aligning long-term economic incentives. VeChain's decisive MOVE reflects and accelerates the broader industry trend toward structured, yield-generating staking mechanisms and user-driven governance—a bullish signal for the VET ecosystem's maturity and value capture.
